Commencement Ceremony: College of Professional Studies

Pacific Lutheran University's College of Professional Studies invites you to join us as we celebrate the graduating Class of 2026 at Commencement! Immediately following the ceremony guests are invited to join graduates on Foss Field for continued celebration.

College of Professional Studies: Thursday, May 21 at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:00 pm)

All seating is unassigned within each section (General or ADA). Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive one hour prior to the ceremony when doors open. ADA seating for the event requires an ADA or ADA companion ticket. ADA parking is available.

Closed captioning is provided for this ceremony.

The ceremony is expected to run approximately 60 – 90 minutes.

If you have family near or far who prefer to participate from home or another remote location or for whom travel to campus is not possible, they can Livestream the event here! All are welcome and we want to make sure that each of your guests has access to participate and celebrate with you!

Event Policy: As a condition of entry all bags will be searched. Bags must be no larger than 21in L x 9in D x 14in W. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags or bags that serve a medical purpose Bags must not contain any of the following prohibited items: Outside food and beverages (factory-sealed water is permitted), Weapons (including firearms, clubs, knives, batons, mace, pepper spray, brass knuckles, tasers, etc.), Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, cannabis products, Smoking and Vaping devices, Balloons, Noise Makers(Bullhorns, air horns, or whistles) flagpoles, sticks to hold signs, banners, signs, or flags that may cause a view obstruction or distraction.PLU officials reserve the right to restrict additional items. Lap infants (2 years of age or younger) are required to sit in a ticketed adult's lap for the entirety of the ceremony; otherwise a ticket is required. Pets or comfort animals are not permitted in the building. (service animals are allowed)
